Keeping Kids Safe Online: Important Resource Coming This Week for Parents & Caregivers

Posted Date: 10/27/25 (8:36 AM)

Parents & Caregivers,

Over this week, Woodford County High School is hosting a Kindness Week. As part of Kindness Week, parents and caregivers at every school will have the opportunity to take a very important online training. The training is a video that centers on keeping children and students safe online. You will hear more information about this training over the course of the week as the Family Resource and Youth Services Coordinator at your student's school will share about the training video, important information from it, and the concluding survey. If you complete the training and the survey at the end of the video, your student will be entered in a drawing for prizes.

We are excited for the positive impact that this training will have. We are confident it will help to increase awareness about harmful online behaviors and to provide parents, caregivers, educators, and community members with the resources, knowledge, and strategies to keep kids safe online.

Thank you for your partnership in this important work!
